Web Content Management Specialist (Interim Agent)

Web Content Management Specialist
(Interim Agent – 1 year contract)
 
Cedefop is looking to secure the support of an interim agent for 12 months in the Department for Communication (DCM). Within the Department, the web team is overall responsible for the Web portal’s activities. The web team manages the resources (external and internal) to ensure the overall effectiveness and quality of the web services and online products available on the Web. 
The work in the web team is service-based and consists in providing support to CMS editors and end-users, drafting reports for web activities, and ensuring web development, maintenance, and support for online services (e.g. basic webpages, web publications, online tools and data visualisations). 
You will support and assist the web team in the execution of the tasks involved in the support and maintenance of the web portal and you will report to the web content management coordinator. 
To be successful in this position you will have to work constructively and cooperate with colleagues across the agency. You will also have to be open to acquiring additional knowledge and expertise if applicable. 
Job description
The interim agent will support DCM and its Web content management related activities by providing the following tasks:
•    Support to the web team in web development related tasks necessary for managing and operating the web portal and other related systems (web applications, web analytics tool, CRM, etc.),
•    Troubleshoot web-related technical issues,
•    Prepare, format, upload, edit and update of content on the web portal’s Content Management System (CMS),
•    Provide the technical support in maintaining front-end interfaces, 
•    Very good knowledge of HTML and CSS coding,
•    Assist and guide the CMS content editors in uploading, updating, and embedding of content on the web portal,
•    Follow-up users’ requests’ execution, as well as the management and organisation of documents, internal communication, meetings, logistic needs using the JIRA ticketing systems and SharePoint.

Candidate’s Profile

•    Diploma in digital communication, computer/Information systems sciences, web development/web management or any other field relevant to the nature of this position.
•    Two to three (2-3) years of proven professional experience in tasks listed in the job description.
•    Very good working knowledge of web content management systems (e.g. Drupal).
•    Very good oral and written communication skills in English (C1).
•    Ability to work independently under the pressure of a heavy workload and tight timescales.
•    Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
•    Problem-solving, planning, and basic project management skills.
