Distribution Analyst

Distribution Analyst
Job description:
- Analyze distribution data to spot trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution processes.
- Monitor performance metrics and report on KPIs.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management.
- Forecast demand by communicating with distributors and stakeholders; assess stock levels and recommend replenishments or withdrawals.
- Maintain and update data systems and databases.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to identify and resolve distribution issues.
- Use statistical techniques in Excel and Python to analyze data.
- Recommend product quantity allocations per point of sale or distribution channel based on market performance.
- Communicate with distributors to resolve stock and distribution-related issues.
Candidate profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Distribution Analyst or in a similar role.
- Fluency in English both written and verbally
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in cost analysis and budget management.
- Strong skills in project management.
