Leader of Account Managers
Job Description
Will be responsible for the monitoring and management of the Account Managers of a particular Account or Region and ensure the smooth operation of the projects. Provides support in budgeting preparation and in the monitoring of the technical and financial performance of the account, making sure that the targets of the account will be met. The Account Manager Leader’s role is crucial for maintaining efficiency and ensuring that account managers can focus on strategic client relationship management Will report to the Account Manager Director.
•Monitoring the yearly forecast and the relevant budget of the account(s).
•Tracking Roll out progress and ensuring that deadlines are met.
•Monitoring the technical and financial performance of the account.
•Developing and managing Overall Account Portfolio Risk Register. To be responsible for the structuring of risk plans for his/her portfolio, assessing problem areas and planning contingency actions with account managers. Following up on the execution of risk planning, management, and control continuously.
•Coordinating projects and initiatives within the account management department.
•Addressing and resolving disputes that may arise within the Clients portfolio.
•Coaching and supporting the recruitment and the development of his AM population to advance expertise in project management.
•Implementing Performance Evaluation of the AM organization, identifying and developing talent and motivating the operation.
•Facilitating collaboration between account managers and other departments (e.g. engineering, project management, civil work, telco, customer support) to meet client needs.
•Assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to improve client satisfaction and retention.
•Participating in the onboarding of new clients, including setting up accounts and ensuring all necessary information is collected.
Desired Candidate Profile
•The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Project Management in construction.
•An undergraduate degree in Electrical / Civil Engineering. A masters’ degree will be considered a plus.
•Fluent in speaking English. Knowledge or fluency in German is an important plus.
•Work in the field of telecommunications and specifically network development will be important, but a candidate with exposure to the management of multiple construction projects and teams, with challenging time constraints and multiple teams will be important.
•Leading and managing teams as well as knowledge in the optimization of project management will be an important plus.
•A candidate from the Telecommunications field will have important knowledge in the use and structural operation of Telecommunications, fixed or mobile.
•Project Management knowledge is key, as well as the ability to influence, direct and manage resources, own or third party to achieve results.
•Experience in a structured organizational environment will be of important value, with exposure to tools, methodologies, processes & procedures unique to the oil & gas industry.
•Important travel in the EU will be required. One week a month is expected.
•Excellent time management to handle administrative duties and support tasks efficiently in complex telecommunication projects.
•Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment.
•Important technical knowledge skills
