SEO Specialist
Job Description
• Develops and implements SEO strategies to improve the visibility of clients' online properties in search engine results across various markets.
• Regularly analyses performance metrics to refine the effectiveness of implemented SEO strategies.
• Provides recommendations to the content team to optimize content for owned properties and link profiles, aiming for better SEO performance and improved search engine rankings.
• Monitors and reports key SEO metrics to ensure results are aligned with KPIs.
• Conducts extensive keyword research, suggests optimizations for existing content, and identifies new opportunities.
• Collaborates with the team to plan and execute cohesive SEO strategies.
• Identifies and addresses onsite optimization opportunities, working with the development team to improve website structure, internal linking, coding standards, and content development.
• Implements on-page optimizations, focusing on enhancing site and link structures, meta titles and descriptions, page speed, and user experience.
• Monitors SEO trends and algorithm updates, adapting strategies to maintain and improve search engine rankings.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, IT or related field will be considered a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO.
• Deep interest and proficiency in modern SEO techniques and tools like Ahrefs, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Google Search Console, etc.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies. In-depth knowledge of technical SEO aspects, including 301 redirects, JavaScript, canonical tags, hreflangs etc.
• Strong Understanding of web development and content management systems (CMS).
• Strong analytical skills to implement data-driven SEO strategies based on KPIs
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and writing skills in English and Greek.
• Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive strategic outcomes.
