Finance Manager
Job description
- Deliver the annual financial statements and statutory reports
- Ensure completeness, accuracy of ledgers, financial records and databases
- Assess adequacy of internal processes systems and reporting tools
- Ensure delivery of periodic management accounts and elaborate on results and variances and recommend actions
- Elaborate and deliver established reports for cost control
- Review and analyze profitability by Product and units and collaborate with management to implement any needed corrective actions.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable status and monitor the respective future inflows and outflows
- Draft short term cash flows to ensure that company meets its payment obligations
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision making and partner with management for the preparation of business plans
- Deliver respective budgets and cash flows to the business plans and agreed assumptions
- In cooperation with the external tax advisors ensure submission of tax returns and drive tax planning to optimize tax cost
- In cooperation with the CEO, elaborate on the financing needs of the company and monitor compliance to terms and conditions
- Interact with key external partners including accounting firms, auditors, lawyers, key business partners and clients
- Contribute to the review of commercial contracts mainly on the economic terms and the overall content of a contract
Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economy, Business administration or similar
- Experience of at least five years as a Financial Controller or similar role
- International exposure in the Balkan region in similar roles is preferred
- Strong knowledge of the accounting principles is mandatory
- IFRS knowledge is a strong plus
- Forecasting & Budgeting skills
- Knowledge of local legislation and regulation
- Wider financial capabilities
- Data analysis skills with a data-driven approach
- Advanced problem solving skills
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Leadership skills with ability to manage a team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Flexibility and speed in decision-making and execution
- Fluency in English (both oral & written)
- Exposure to ERP systems
- Ability to travel (EU)
