Adecco is currently seeking on behalf of its client, an international investing firm, for a dynamic professional to cover the following position.
Assistant Accountant (Kifissia)
Job Description:
• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval.
• Posts invoices, journal entries, and expense reports.
• Ensures Tax & VAT compliance for all invoices booked.
• Monitors daily compliance with MyData.
• Runs payments and reconciles banks.
• Reconciles vendors and corrects discrepancies.
• Assists in the preparation of IFRS9.
• Assists in treasury functions.
• Assists with budget preparation and control.
• Responds to vendor inquiries.
• Maintains files and respective documentation.
• Provides support during the month-end and year-end close process.
• Extends support to ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as deemed necessary.
Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A post graduate degree or other professional qualifications will be considered as a plus.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in Audit Firms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Familiarity with Softone ERP will be considered an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and oral
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
