Procurement Officer
Job Description
Position reporting to the CEO:
•Develops and maintains strong relationships with suppliers and manage performances.
•Identifies new potential suppliers and manages registration in Naval Group’s Suppliers Relationship Management system.
•Negotiates and contracts agreements with suppliers (framework, contracts, purchase orders, amendments, MoU, etc.)
•Follow-up of purchase contracts (progress, milestones, invoices, claims, etc.)
•Establishment of company’s procurement rules, taking into consideration the mother company’s guidelines
•Participation to company’s ERP implementation and deployments
Desired Candidate Profile
•At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
•Previous experience in the defense industry is a strong plus
•Experience in the industrial sector is alternatively preferred.
•Experience in drafting and handling contracts.
•Strong negotiation skills
•Experience in Greek export control rules for military items.
•Solid knowledge of Greek public tenders’ process
•Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and MS office suite
•Fluency in English language is mandatory.
•Fluency in French language is a plus.
