Marine Travel Consultant
Job Summary
The Marine Travel Consultant is responsible for providing expert advice and consultancy services in the field of marine aviation. This role involves planning and coordinating flight operations for marine vessels, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, optimizing flight routes, and managing the safety and efficiency of air transport services related to marine operations.

Job description
  • Develop and manage flight plans for marine vessels, ensuring optimal routes and compliance with international aviation regulations
  • Flight arrangements to be made in accordance with client request. Coordinate with marine vessel captains and flight crews to schedule and execute flights efficiently
  • Using best fare/routine in the most efficient manner and employing all possible systems and resources to ensure competitive and prompt service following the instructions for Quality Control and Training Consultant standards
  • Verification that booked passenger meets visa requirements at arrival and transit locations
  • Handle marine internal and external clients, in a uniform way, ensuring best service protocol
  • Queue monitor and manage GMT seat hawking system
  • Work with accounting department to solve ant errors, questions, debit manners, etc
  • Monitor client satisfaction and act on crisis management for untoward incidences and report any irregularities to management
  • Communicate inter office to assist and support the business in both day to day activities and the strategic development of the business
     

Candidate profile
  • 2-3 years of experience from within a travel agency or a travel department background in working with Marine travel
  • Strong computer skills and experience with ticketing systems such as Amadeus and/or Sabre
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-oriented and multitasking abilities
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and proficient use of English. Any other additional foreign language will be considered a strong plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to perform well under pressure
  • Efficiency & productivity skills working with attention to detail to minimize errors
