Job Description
•Installing and configuring Windows and Unix operating systems
•Installing and configuring hardware and software components on Windows and Unix operating systems
•Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows and Unix operating systems
•Installing configuring, maintaining and optimizing Application Servers and supporting software (Wildfly, Apache, SSL Certificates)
•Installing configuring, maintaining and optimizing RDMS systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL - Maria DB)
•Performing tests and evaluations on software and hardware
•2nd – 3rd Level Support via Helpdesk platform
•Back-office and infrastructure support (Email Office 365, Backup, Updates, Windows Server, Hyper V, VMWare, SAP, Firewall PFSense)
Candidate Profile
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
•More than (4) four years of experience in computer systems maintenance or related field
• At least (three) 3 years’ experience in Installing configuring, maintaining and optimizing RDMS systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL - Maria DB)
• At least (three) 3 years’ experience in Installing and configuring hardware and software components on Windows and Unix operating systems
•Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Time management, ability to prioritize upon criticality of the arising issues
